William “Bill” Page Wilkins

RALEIGH – William “Bill” Page Wilkins, 72, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh. Bill was born in Wake County on April 20, 1948 the son of the late Harry and Hazel Wilkins. Bill owned the Wilkins Company and is known for many restorations in Historic Oakwood as well as throughout the Raleigh area. He dearly loved his home away from home, New Bern. There, Bill and Margie enjoyed many years on the water. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Margie Wilkins; son, Jonathan Wilkins of Clemmons; step-sons, Matthew Robinett and wife, Anne of Richmond, Virginia, Graham Robinette and wife, Dr. Katheryn Robinett, MD, of Severna Park, Maryland; sisters, Dorothy Wilkins of Raleigh, Brenda Moore and husband, David of Youngsville; brother, Howard Wilkins and wife, Carlene of Garner; and his grandchildren, McKenna, Gracyn, Leah, Loftin, Graham, Emmeline, Silas, Honora, Quinn, Craig, and Pierson. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and his care team at the VA and Heartland Hospice.
