William Bill Steele

November 11, 1926 - August 27, 2012 Raleigh - William Bill Steele, 85, passed away Monday. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 30 at 2:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. The things that made Bill the happiest in life were his loving wife, his daughter, son-in-law Larry, which was his bowling buddy and the Wolfpack. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Louise; daughter, Terry S. Handy and husband, Larry of Hillsborough. The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Steven Liebowitz and his nurse, Lori and the entire staff at The Oaks of Mayview and Hospice of Wake County.
