William "Clyde" Williams

Willliam “Clyde” Williams, 80, passed away December 9, 2023. A native of Wake County, Clyde was born February 4, 1943, to the late Martin and Lessie Mae Brown Williams. He was an avid model airplane builder and pilot. Clyde worked for Corning in Raleigh for more than 40 years before retiring.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 1PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park

Clyde is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Sauls Williams; sons, Martin “Marty” Williams and wife, Shirley and Jay Harvell Williams; sisters, Joanne Massey and Betty Lou Hill; brother, Mitchell Williams; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
