Willow Spring: Will Brookover, 58, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 19 with a positive attitude and the determination needed to Kick Cancers Butt (or KCB for short) with his wife by his side. Will was born and raised in Zanesville, OH. During his time with the United States Air Force he resided in San Antonio, TX, but for many years has called North Carolina home. He had been employed for 16 years with Ferguson Enterprises in Raleigh, NC and held many positions with the last being Branch Trainer. He is survived by his wife Shelia Brookover, daughter Audra Rose Berry (Sean) of Richards TX , brothers Alan Brookover (Joy) of Mt. Juliet TN, John Brookover (Kendra) of Zanesville, OH, Phil Brookover (Pauline) of Apex, NC, Steve Brookover (Cyndy) of Toledo, OH and his special brother Scot Black (Alma) of Garner, NC. Will is also survived by his Aunt Fern Gabriel of Zanesville, OH, Aunt Bernadine Brookover of Tarboro, NC, along with many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Kenneth and Rosanna Brookover , sister Mary Ann Brookover, and brother Charles Brookover all of Zanesville, OH. Will was excited about his new upcoming life adventure of being a proud grandfather to Paul Berry who will make his appearance in June, 2013. Visitation will be held Friday, March 22 from 7 - 9 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC with a Celebration of Life being held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Wills honor to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd St. NY, NY 10128 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
