William D. Goins

RALEIGH - William D. Goins, 84 passed away at home on Saturday. Born in Moore County, he was the son of the late Riley and Mary Morrison Goins. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Inwood Baptist Church with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include his daughter, Diane Knowles; son, Derek Goins and wife, Arlex; grandchildren, Christy DiGregorio and husband, Chris, Kim Goins and husband, Safet Durakovic, Tara Goins, Lauren Manning, Danielle Bryant and husband, Jason, Lisa Kennedy and husband, Todd, Arlene Mena-Bonilla and husband, Wilfredo; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Christopher and Dominick DiGregorio, Brandon and Christina Knowles and Daniel Kennedy; Alexandra, Samantha, Joseph, Michael, Victoria and Mikayla Mena-Bonilla; godson, Billy Strickland. In addition to his parents and three sisters Mr. Goins was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Lois Inez Goins. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday night at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
