William E. Terry

GARNER- William Edwin Terry, 82, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1st. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Julian and Mary Chappell Terry. Mr. Terry served in the US Army and retired from the NC DOT where he was a longtime employee. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service. Survivors include sister, Rebecca Terry Smith (Edward) of Clayton; brothers, Joe Terry (Donnis) of Benson, Wallace Terry (Joyce) of Raleigh and Frank Terry (Jeannette) of Zebulon; special friends, Jimmy, Janet, Jason and Kate Morris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Terry; sister, Dorothy Poythress and brother, Clyde Terry.
