William Harvey Adams

William Harvey Adams, 93, of Raleigh, passed away Friday at Rex Hospital. A native of Virginia, he was the son of the late William Franklin and Jessie Walton Adams. Harvey was a welder by trade and also proudly served his country in WWII, serving in the U.S. Army. Funeral service will be Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church on Old Stage Rd. Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, with Military Honors. In addition to his parents Harvey was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years; Fonnue Jones Adams, sisters, Joyce Beasley and Martha Keller; brothers, Walton, Clyde, Thomas, George and Sam Adams. He is survived by daughter, Wendy Bishop and husband Jeff; sons, Randy Adams and wife Mary Helen and Mark Adams and wife Kim; 6-grandchildren, Jessica Reinhardt and husband Greg, Emily Adams, Taylor Adams, Corey Adams, Mitchell Bishop and Annah Bishop and one great-grandchild, Victoria Reinhardt. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church 5029 Old Stage Rd. Raleigh, NC 27603. Harvey will lie in state at the church 1-hour prior to the service for anyone wishing to pay their respects. (No family will be present)
