William John Blanc

William John Blanc, 75, passed Sunday, October 18, 2020. William was born September 11, 1945 to the late John Victor and Helen Revelt Blanc. He proudly served his country in the US Navy before a career as an Electrical Project Manager. He also served 8 years as a councilman in North Perry Village, Ohio and was a certified referee for high school football, basketball, volleyball and softball. While in Raleigh, he was a continuing education teacher for Wake Tech for the National Electrical Code exam prep course. A memorial service will be held November 7, 2020, at 1:00pm, in the Bryan Lee Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Terri Jacobs Blanc; children, Veronica Blanc Foster, David Blanc and wife, Brittani, and Daniel Blanc; grandson, Adrian Gonzalez; sister, Audrey Blanc Moughan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Blanc Getchell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Shriners Hospitals for Children. Please wear masks and social distance if you are attending the service.
