William Norman Clement, Jr.

William “Bill” Norman Clement, Jr, 93, of 5412 Belsay Drive died peacefully at his home on Saturday,

December 16, 2023 surrounded by his children.

He was born in Charlotte, NC son of the late Charlotte Thelma Hollingsworth Clement and the late

William Norman Clement.

Bill enjoyed farming, traveling, spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren. Financially

astute, he was able to retire in his mid-fifties and was an avid golfer into his late eighties. He also

enjoyed helping others maintain financial independence. He was very intelligent and well read, and

enjoyed meeting people and learning various topics.

Mr. Clement is preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister, Mary Jane Clement Peebles and

his stepson, William Stevens Tiffany. He is survived by his children, William Norman Clement III (wife,

Lori) and Lora Kreider Clement Welsh (husband, Rob). Also, his stepdaughter, Lindsay Tiffany Nichols

(husband, Nick) and stepson, Mark Kreider Tiffany (wife, Joy). Surviving siblings are his sisters,

Charlotte Clement Totulis and Linda Gray Clement Dicks. Mr. Clement leaves behind two grandsons,

Will and Jake Clement; four step granddaughters, Tiffany Roberts, Kelly Harrison, Nikki Nichols and

Star Matignon; one step grandson, Colin Tiffany. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great

nieces, great nephews and six step great grandchildren.

Mr. Clement will be laid to rest at The Clement Family Cemetery located on Eaton Road in Mocksville,

NC 27028 on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Mr. Clement’s

step son-in-law, Nick Nichols. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
