William Starr Graney

William S. Graney, 83, of Raleigh, NC passed away August 31, 2022. He was born in Batavia, NY, the first of seven children born to William David and Carol Starr Graney. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Roxanne; three sons, Garrett (wife Laura), Kevin and Patrick (wife Hope); six grandchildren, Grant, Foster, Andie, Campbell, Logan, and Morgan; and one great granddaughter, Sophia. Golf and reading was his passion, along with his adoration for his family. He had a very successful career, allowing him to live all over the country, eventually winding up in Raleigh. His strong Catholic faith kept him actively engaged in church endeavors. Everyone that knew Bill will greatly cherish his impact on their lives, either through love, friendship, teaching, or humor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to St. Raphael’s Catholic Church at 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. The funeral will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Raphael’s in Raleigh.
