William Wallace "Will" Poole

RALEIGH – William Wallace “Will” Poole, 29, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Will was born in Raleigh on July 9, 1992, the son of Haywood and Marian Stewart Poole. As a boy, Will was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Millbrook High School, class of 2011. He also attended N.C. State University. Will was preceded in death by his grandparents, Corrine Stewart, Henry H. Poole, Jr., and Mae P. Poole. He is survived by his loving family, which includes his parents, Haywood and Marian Stewart Poole; brother, Stewart H. Poole; grandfather, David W. Stewart, Sr.; uncle, David Stewart, Jr. and wife, Jan; aunt, Brenda Poole Hourigan and partner, Ivan Wood; uncle, James Hourigan and wife, Linda; cousins, Samuel Stewart, Charles Stewart, Scott Hourigan and wife, Laura, Richard Hourigan and wife, Kathryn, Brian Hourigan and wife, Stacey; a host of second cousins and extended family; and his feline companion, Lucy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at North Raleigh United Methodist Church (8501 Honeycutt Rd, Raleigh, North Carolina). A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Inurment within the church columbarium will be held at a later date.
