William “Wild Bill” Puglisi

February 2, 1953 — August 15, 2015

ANGIER – William Benjamin Puglisi, 62, died Saturday. A native of Binghamton, NY, he is the son of John J. Puglisi and the late Dorothy Puglisi. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He loved his wife, his family, his friends and his bikes. His greatest joy was to make people smile. His love of motorcycles allowed his gift of friendship to pass to many people that he met across the country. He was part of Puglisi Brothers Racing with his two brothers and the owner of “Wild Bill’s Custom Cycles”. He was the founding father of North Carolina American Legion Riders. Bill had a special relationship with his nephew Mason, he was his buddy. Bill started his own tile business along with his wife, Becky, in 2001, and was very successful at it. He was one of the most true to himself people, he did it his way and did not do things because people said that was the way to do it. He could make you mad and make you laugh. “Bill was Bill.” Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Immediately following the receiving of friends the family would like to invite friends to celebrate Wild Bill’s life at the American Legion Post 116 located at 6400 Johnson Pond Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 15 years, Rebecca Hills Puglisi; daughters, Aimee Martin, Danielle Puglisi, son, Richard Eilenberger; sisters, Anne Marie Johnston and husband, Chuck, Nancy Torris and husband, John, Beth Rasch and husband, Tony; brother, John P.
