Willie Gray “Billy” Marcom, Sr.

Willie G. Marcom, Sr., 87, passed away Friday June 5, 2015. Born May 11, 1928, Willie was the son of the late Willie and Susie Marcom. Willie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his loving and adoring wife of 54 years Margaret Parrish Marcom. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Doris Carroll, Marie King, Wilma Jordan, and Louise Glisson. Surviving are sons W.G. Marcom, Jr. and his wife Karen, Tony Marcom; grandchildren Laura “Brooke”, Matthew Marcom and his wife Krista; sisters Mary Lee Williams, Shirley Byrd, Sue Jones and her husband Billy. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on June 9, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Old Fairground Rd., Willow Springs, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Monday June 8, 2015 at Bryan- Lee Funeral Home in Garner.
