ANGIER – Wm. “Doug” Parker, 65, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Doug was born in Harnett County on October 20, 1953 to the late William Parlie Parker and Estene Wood Parker. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elaine Parker; daughter, Tara Hester and husband, Tommy of Willow Spring; son, Garrett Parker and girlfriend, Kellie McCraw of Wilmington; step-daughters, Samantha Mills of Angier, Elizabeth Wood and Lincoln of Angier; sister, Gale Stephenson and husband, John of Raleigh; brother, Dale Parker of Louisburg; and grandchildren, Taylor Hester, Tyler Hester, Makayla Norris, Waylon Mills, and Chase Bridgers.
