Zelma Louise Morgan Kornegay

RALEIGH – Zelma Louise Morgan Kornegay, 80, of Lillington, formerly of Raleigh, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial, Raleigh Memorial Park. Surviving: her husband of 55 years, John F. Kornegay, Jr.; daughters Leonor Rueda Powell (Charles) of Willow Spring and Ann K. Crocker (Ronnie) of Lillington; son, Alan O. Rueda (Sandra) of Durham and sister, Ann Davis of Goldston; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday and at other times at the home of Charles and Leonor Powell. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Maskil Fellowship Church, 2227 Milburnie Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.
